After a long wait (literally), Saira and Tito will be married on August 9, 2008. They have known each other for roughly 11 years now, and it has been a loving and lasting friendship turned relationship. After going to war, Tito realized the important role that Saira played in his life, and he wanted their relationship to be something more than just friends. Later that year in 2003, Tito got up the nerve to ask her to be his lady... turns out she said yes... a month later!!! Since then, Saira and Tito have enjoyed each others time for nearly four years as boyfriend/girlfriend.

As of November 24, 2007 though, things changed. Saira’s day started like any other Saturday in the fall, watching college football with her main squeeze. Little did she know that her life would never be the same. As she went to the room she found a note that instructed her to open it. The note stated that she must gather her belongings and get ready for a wonderful day (or something like that). Her first clue told her to go to the place where she and Tito had their first date, a trip to the theatre and watched Lord of the Rings: Return of the King at the AMC 6 in Burbank. Her next clue told her to go to the place where they celebrated their first anniversary, it just so happened that it was at a massage place, The Massage Company in Pasadena, where she would find out upon arriving that she had a 12:30 appointment. She enjoyed her massage and as she walked out she was handed her third clue, a note that told her she would be assisted in getting ready for tonight’s dinner (just so you know, Saira thought all along that previously made dinner plans with friends were legit-so she had no idea). Well, she went to get her nails and eyebrows done, as well as a pedicure and manicure, she had fun. As she finished up there, her next clue told her to go back home and get ready. As she got in the car she was handed a single red rose and told that her friend called had to cancel their dinner date, so Saira and Tito went on their own. The location was The Castaway, a restaurant that sits atop Burbank (Tito’s hometown). After dinner, Saira and Tito stepped out to the patio where they were greeted by a reserved table with two wine glasses on it. Following a discussion of the days events, Tito explained to Saira that he wanted that day to be their last as simply boyfriend and girlfriend, and with that said, he got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him… SHE SAID YES!!!
